KHALED Mirror (H140 x W110cm)

The borders of the frame on our Khaled mirror are traced out in the shimmering silvery tones of maillechort, and contain an extraordinarily intricate inlay of white bone set within black resin. Two additional panels of decoration extend over the upper corners of the mirror itself to create a rippling arch effect, with each panel boasting a circular medallion motif to draw the eye.

PARISHA Mirror (H170 x W70cm)

The frame of our Parisha mirror is decorated with an inlaid chain of twenty-five star-like flowers, picked out using hundreds of pieces of hand-carved bone set within a black resin surround. A border of nickel silver beading adds an extra layer of tone and texture, which gives the piece an overall air of calm simplicity.

HUSSEIN Mirror (H160 x W80cm)

Our Hussein mirror extends upwards into a beautifully scalloped triple arch, with a frame in-laid with hundreds of pieces of hand-carved bone and lined with lengths of textured maillechort. Its tones of silver and ivory combine perfectly with the slim lines of the frame to create a piece that exudes an effortless sophistication.

JAWAD Side Table

More than living up to its name, which translates from Arabic as ‘noble’ or ‘gracious’, our Jawad side table offers a rich combination of American walnut in-laid with mother of pearl and silver wire. Aside from its glorious floral motifs, it is set apart by the two traditionally-contoured apertures carved by hand into each of its eight side panels. These bestow the table with an extra layer of decoration and serve to give it a pleasing visual depth.

RAHIM Side Table

Defined by the artful contrast between its American walnut surface and its joyous inlay of mother of pearl and silver wire, our Rahim side table is also blessed with pleasingly slender proportions. Each of its eight side panels has an arch cut into its base and rises to support a table top surrounded by a substantial bevelled frame.

Our octagonal Yaseen side table is imbued with a delicate beauty that derives in large part from the precision and artistry of its floral motif – picked out with tendrils of silver wire and petals of mother of pearl. This decorative effect is all the more striking for the way in which it complements the smoothly grained American walnut surface of the table – and is further enhanced by the sinuous arches cut into the base of each of its side panels.

A wonderful example of the kind of contemporary results that can be achieved with our traditional workmanship, our Kamal side table is a delight on the eye. Sitting on a base of handsome American walnut, it sports four elegantly curved concave legs that arch up and outwards to support a broad circular table top. In contrast to the warm hues of the base and legs, the table top is sumptuously in-laid with the cool tones of mother of pearl to create an almost art-deco effect. Available in customised sizes, our Kamal side table can also be delivered in a larger dining version.

Sumptuously adorned with bone-inlaid floral motifs, our Amer side table has a traditional octagonal structure augmented by the addition of a large embossed circular medallion on each side panel. Arched at its base, it sports a subtly recessed table top encased within a satisfyingly substantial bevelled frame.

Constructed with a traditional octagonal configuration, our Khalab side table also boasts a typical Islamic archway at the base of each side panel. Its decoration bears witness to the skilled bonework of our maalem, with a bold floral motif at the centre of the side panels and table top, and subtle bone-encrusted detailing on the edging.
