Earning the Arabic name for one who is ‘bountiful’ or ‘noble’, our Karima console table is blessed with generous proportions and exceptional ornamentation. Its sinuous vine-like motif, which extends to the inner surface of each side panel and to the carved apron that runs across the table’s front, is created by hand using in-laid pieces of silver wire and mother of pearl, while strips of bone are overlaid to create a kind of beaded framing.

HAMIDA Cabinet

A taller sister model to our Esme side cabinet, the Hamida revels in the rich natural tones of American walnut. Its every surface is decorated with a delicate floral design that swirls around a single repeated flower-like motif, all created by hand using in-laid pieces of mother of pearl and silver wire, while strips of bone beading are used to frame each individual section. It is fitted with two sets of double doors, which open to reveal a four-section, double-level storage space.

ESME Cabinet

Luxuriating in the natural richness of solid American walnut, our delightful Esme side cabinet is fitted with two sets of double doors, which open to reveal an eight-section, double-level storage space. Each door is adorned with a delicate floral motif that swirls around a single flower-like centre-piece, all created by hand using in-laid pieces of mother of pearl and silver wire. The same motif is repeated across its side panels and upper surface, while strips of bone beading are used to frame each individual section. For a slightly taller version, see our Hamida model.

ASEM Side Table

Every leaf and petal of the floral motif on our Asem side table is a piece of mother of pearl and every stem a length of silver wire. Each one has been carefully shaped to be an exact fit for the openings carved by hand into the wood of the table, and then fixed into place to create a seamlessly smooth finish. It is an extraordinary feat of artistry, enhanced further by the addition of strips of bone around the table top and along the edges of each side panel. The overall effect is a sumptuously slender piece of furniture that sets a benchmark for the aesthetic quality of any room.

This four-panelled Shasha screen is characterised by the geometric interplay between its various square and rectangular sections, which are variously decorated with beautifully turned mashrabiya-style latticework, intricately hand-carved floral motifs, and delicately inlaid bone. Sporting the same decorative motifs, the table top is lifted out beyond the extent of the side panels by a projecting plinth of solid wood.
